May 3 - 7 is Teacher Appreciation Week. Show our Verona teachers some love!
We just completed an intruder lock-down drill. The students and staff did a nice job getting to their places. We will be doing more drills in the near future.

K-6 basketball camp begins next Monday. We will accept forms on Monday. The cost is $40. Each camper will get a basketball and TShirt.

FFA Plant Sale will be after school today from 4-6 PM. We will be in the gravel parking lot across from the school.
State testing (MAP) for the elementary starts next week. 5th grade will start first on Monday, and grades 3-6 will follow. Testing lasts for 2 weeks and will cover English skills, math, and science(5th only). Please help your student(s) get plenty of rest and encourage them to eat breakfast. We are earning tickets and are going to be spending them for rewards, so pump up your students to try their hardest!
