Students must turn in a signed copy of their acceptable use policy and insurance payments before Chromebooks will be issued. It is very important that they take care of this as soon as possible.
Chromebook insurance is $35 per student. We have payment options available for those in need. Call the office for assistance.

JH BASKETBALL: Practice begins on Monday! Both teams will begin after school. The boys will finish at 5:45 and the girls will finish at 6.

Come out and support them at their jamboree August 24th in Miller. Games start at 5:30!

Verona R-7 Open House August 19th (1-7)
Verona High School Baseball starts on Monday, August 9th from 6-8:30. Everyone is welcome to play, even if you have never played before. If you have questions call Coach Longley at 417-466-5653.

The following are the updated practice times for the upcoming fall seasons:
Monday, August 9th:
High School Volleyball - 8:30-10:30am
High School Baseball - 6:00-8:30pm
Thursday, August 19th:
JH Basketball (6th-8th Grade) players need to meet with Coach Stewart (Boys) and Coach Weiss (Girls) during open house. We will be handing out schedules and other information during this time.
Monday, August 23rd:
JH Basketball practice begins
*You need an Athletic Physical in order to practice.
**If you got your athletic physical last year then all you will need to do is the MSHSAA Annual Requirement (http://www.mshsaa.org/resources/pdf/CurrentMSHSAAPre-participationDocumentation-AnnualRequirements.pdf)
JH Girls that are interested in playing basketball need to signup for the BAND app as well as their parent/guardian. I use this app to communicate with parents and athletes.
ATHLETIC PHYSICALS:
If you are needing to get an athletic physical call the Lawrence Co Clinic. They do them for free! Don’t wait until the last second to get one scheduled.

HS ATHLETICS:
Both Volleyball and Fall Baseball will begin practices on August 9th. Volleyball practice time TBA. Baseball will go from 6-8:30pm. You must have a physical in order to practice.

Please see Coach Weiss & Coach Stewart during the open house on Aug. 19th. You will get your practice schedule and paperwork (which will need to be completely filled out before you can practice).
