Save the date! Verona Graduation Ceremony will be May 16th. Baccalaureate Ceremony will be from 6:00-6:30 PM. The 2025 Verona Graduation Ceremony will begin at 7 PM.
Fourth grade finished their book madness today. The Bad Seed by Jory John was the final winner. The student who nominated the winning book got a prize and a copy of the book to take home. Congratulations!

CoxHealth will be doing Sports Physicals on the Verona Campus on May 8th! As of February, they are not able to offer free physicals unless the student has no insurance and meets hardship criteria. All students with insurance will be charged $25 and must have paperwork filled out before May 7th. All forms are located in the nurses office. Also, as of next year, all JH athletes will be required to have a physical to participate in sports. If you are unsure if you have a physical, contact Nurse Shara.
The softball game scheduled for tonight versus Blue Eye here at Verona is canceled. We will look to reschedule for a later date. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Fall/Winter Athletic Banquet to recognize our student athlete's hard work and achievements during their seasons!
Mrs. Phillips' 4th grade class has been busy the last two weeks! We planted seeds, earned a ROAR movie party for great behavior, and had a sundae party for learning our multiplication facts!
Fourth grade has been doing a March Madness reading challenge. Each student nominated their favorite picture book. We have made it to the final two books, and we will pick a winner after spring break!

Kindergarten is exploring the sun and the moon! Today, we put the scientific method to work by predicting whether the sun would melt chocolate candy. Then, we tested our predictions and observed the results.
