Third grade has been learning about natural disasters. Mrs. Phillips' class built marshmallow structures and then tested them to see if they could withstand a Jello earthquake. It's always fun when you combine food and science!

The 3rd grade students worked hard on their array cities. They turned out great!

Third grade has been learning how to use arrays to solve multiplication problems. This week, they worked in groups to make array cities!

It might be pajama day, but 1st grade is still hard at work learning to read!!

Third grade has been learning about different types of weather. Today, students had to design and build structures that could withstand the high winds of a hairdryer.

Third grade had fun tie dyeing shirts today! They will wear them for assemblies and field trips.

Third graders enjoyed several dot themed activities today to celebrate International Dot Day! One activity was to build towers using only index cards and dot stickers. They were very creative!

Mrs. Phillips' 3rd graders learned about the events of 9/11 and why today is called Patriot Day.

We had so much fun in class this week exploring through play! Learning through play not only kept everyone engaged and excited but helped build problem-solving skills, creativity, and collaboration in a natural, fun way.
