Due to several surrounding counties mandating a shelter in place order the Verona R-VII School District will be closed to all non-essential personnel starting Thursday March 26, 2020 until further notice. Meal pick up will still be available; however, meal delivery will be suspended. Presently we are scheduled to resume school on April 6, 2020.

Hello Wildcat Family, staff members are making calls to reach out to assess family needs. We are checking on technology and WiFi access; simply to see where we can help our families better. Also, over the next week teachers will be reaching out to touch base; just to check in and possibly talk to their students. We miss our kids and we want them to know. Stay safe and healthy!

We are continuing to provide free breakfast and lunch for children 1-18. You may pick-up your grab and go breakfast in front of the high school. Service is being offered Monday - Thursday from 11-12. Please call the school if you want to be added to the service or if you are on the list and no longer plan to participate. This helps our cooks know how to prepare each day. We want to have plenty, but we do not want to prepare more than is needed. Volunteers may be able to provide delivery for those without transportation and beyond walking distance.
